Yike's Old Ring

The adaptation room at Seventh Public School was at the northernmost end of the main building's ground floor.

That part of the building received no direct light at any time of year. The light arcade outside automatically dimmed as it passed the school, and the windows were a layer thicker than those in ordinary classrooms. Farther down the corridor, the walls gradually changed from pale gray to deep blue. Guide strips of several different materials were embedded along the edges of the floor, making it easier for students who relied on touch, heat, or weak electric fields to find their way.

Xu Linchuan rarely came here.
