At 8:12 the next morning, Old Northlight Market sent a batch-dispute resolution notice to the thirty-one confirmed holders.

The notice did not use terms like "accident relic" or "anomalous implement." It stated only that major gaps had been found in the provenance records for Batch Nineteen of cross-district adapted secondhand goods, leaving the current safety classifications temporarily without a complete basis. Until further verification was complete, the implements were barred from trade and continued use was not recommended for children, medical care, environmental adaptation, or continuity-of-self assistance.

Users who had already purchased one could choose among three remedies.
