[Overview of the Era] The development of the modern Stargate network began with post-war restoration rather than a new round of travel. After the Second Stargate War, it was known that there were a large number of damaged gates, blocked branch lines, temporary military gates, illegal short gates and invalid clock nodes on the public network. In the first few hundred Stargate years after the war, the focus of Stargate affairs was not expansion, but identifying which roads were still usable, which roads had to be closed, which gates needed to be rebuilt, and which areas were temporarily unsuitable for reconnection. Since then, as the post-war order has stabilized, the Stargate network has gradually transformed from the ancient Gate-City system into a modern public infrastructure system. The so-called "Stargate network modernization" in this chapter mainly includes five contents: door body standardization, self-stabilization technology formation, group door grid establishment, ground and inter-branch expansion, and smart door protocol popularization. The result is not to create new stars, worlds, places, and spaces, but to provide the existing world with a more stable, safer, and lower-cost connection method. It should be noted that the expansion of the modern Stargate network should not be understood as the completion of the coverage of the universe by known civilizations. In the late 39th Era, around Stargate Calendar 12784, although nearly 10 million Stargates have been registered on the public network, it still only covers a part of the known world. A large number of stars, realms, places, and spaces have yet to be discovered, or have not been included in the public access system due to distance, rules, politics, ecology, life forms, and safety factors. The modern Stargate network is the infrastructure of the known public order, not the entire map of the Xenarchive Universe.

[Postwar restoration door] Stargate Calendar Between 840 and 1200, the main tasks of modern Stargate technology were repair and ban. Later transportation history usually refers to the door body at this stage as "post-war repair door". Postwar door restoration is not a new technological generation, but a classification process of the remaining door bodies from the end of ancient times. Its objects include Hengguang old-style door knockers, Qingqiong branch gates, Luojia Port Group Merchants Gate, Tiyang Outer Harbor Warehouse Gate, Weien Book City Academic Gate, Benqi Military Gate, Old Jindi Burning Crystal Gate, Chaqi Realm Sect Private Gate and a large number of short gate relics whose origins cannot be confirmed. After Stargate Calendar 870, the first clearing of the remaining gates began. Stargate Calendar In 1912, the scope of cleaning up the remaining gates was expanded to the entire known public network, forming a general cleanup record of the remaining gates. Thereafter, in principle, all doors left behind after the war must register their location, original purpose, degree of damage, pollution level, responsibility and restoration possibilities. Unregistered doors are considered high-risk structures and local agencies are not allowed to open them on their own. Stargate Calendar In 1024, the "Dangerous Door Seal Regulations" were passed. This regulation classifies post-war doors into six categories: repairable doors, restricted access doors, forbidden doors, research doors, contaminated doors and inaccessible doors. Thereafter, portosystemic disposition began to move away from ad hoc experiences and toward standard classifications. This classification continues to influence modern gate management. In the late 39th Era, the Stargate Road Department continued to use its basic framework in the Dangerous Broken Gate Archives. The technological progress during the post-war restoration phase was not significant, but it had great institutional significance. It enables the Stargate network to regain a registerable, statisticable, and reviewable foundation. Without this stage, the subsequent standard constant gate, self-stabilizing Stargate and group gate grids would not have been established.

【Standard Hengmen System】 Stargate Calendar Between 1200 and 2600, Stargate technology entered the standard constant gate stage. The so-called standard stargate refers to a permanent stargate that meets the requirements of the public road law in terms of door body specifications, rule buffering, life quarantine, opening records, school time interfaces, accident sealing, maintenance cycles and traffic files. Standard constant doors do not mean that all door bodies are identical. The rules of different stars, worlds, places, and places are very different, and the gate structure still needs to adapt to the local environment. However, the standard portal requires all public portals to have mutually recognized file formats, time interfaces, risk levels and maintenance responsibilities. Qingqiong Realm believed that it did not consider enough changes in boundary currents, Luojia Baichao Port Group believed that its requirements for freight diversion efficiency were too low, Wuhe Land representatives pointed out that it did not fully consider the instability of the drifting entrance, and Thousand-Dream Interspace Echo Institute believed that its record of dream life identities is still biased towards astral life. Stargate Calendar Between 1520 and 1680, this document was revised three times before it gradually became the basic standard for public networks. The standard constant gate stage also promotes the differentiation of the Stargate profession. In ancient times, Stargate engineers often took on the responsibilities of design, maintenance, opening, verification, and traffic observation at the same time. After the formation of the modern standard gate system, Stargate engineers were gradually divided into occupations such as gate engineers, rule buffers, school timekeepers, quarantine officers, access file clerks, accident reviewers, gate legal officers, and environmental adaptors. Stargate management is controlled by a few high-level experts and turned to a large number of ordinary professionals to jointly maintain it. This change has a particularly obvious impact on the edge world. Many small and medium-sized life stars, small circles, and places cannot hire high-level stargate engineers for a long time, but they can train local gatekeepers, maintenance workers, quarantine workers, and archivists. Standard Hengmen lowers the threshold for public network access and reduces the technological monopoly of the backbone Gate-City on edge nodes.
