【Purpose】 What is described in this chapter is not a complete account of the modern known world. In the late thirty-ninth era, around Stargate Calendar 12784, a huge number of life stars, worlds, places, and spaces have been stably connected to the public network. Although the seventh general census of various sects has produced relatively complete statistics, it is impossible for any general history to record all regions one by one. Therefore, this chapter only selects a number of stars, realms, places, and times that have great influence on modern politics, economy, education, culture, technology, religion, transportation, ecology, medicine, history, or local life as an overview of the contemporary world. Unlike the previous two chapters, this chapter no longer centers on the postwar order or the Stargate network. Stargate still affects transportation, trade, education and public records in various places, but for modern residents, Stargate is mostly infrastructure rather than the whole life. The reason why a region is worth recording is not only because of its road level, strategic location or historical war status, but also because of its cities, schools, ethnic groups, industries, food, festivals, language, environment and general lifestyle. The introduction method of this chapter is mainly based on modern geography and public encyclopedia entries. Each region mainly explains its basic nature, historical origins, population composition, governance methods, major cities or regions, economic and cultural characteristics, and its contemporary status in the late 39th century.
【Traditional Backbone World】 Qingqiong Realm. Qingqiong Realm is one of the most important ancient realms in the known public network. Its boundary structure is famous for its high domes, floating land, long wind belts, deep valley boundary currents and multi-layered skylight. Qingqiong Realm has a very long history. As early as the recording era, relatively complete research on boundaries, the academy system and sect archives have appeared. Beiyuan Academy is one of the most important academic institutions in Qingqiong Realm. It has long been responsible for the functions of boundary studies, road history, gatekeeper ethics, public law and higher education. In the late 39th Era, the Qingqiong Realm was not a single political power, but consisted of the Beiyuan Academy District, the Yunheng Old Tribe Autonomous Area, the Changfeng Sect Belt, the Southern Floating Land City Group, the Bailu Port District, and several border protection areas. The residents of Qingqiong Realm include the Qingqiong natives, foreign academicians, boundary craftsmen, sect disciples, wind belt herdsmen, descendants of Hengguang survivors, and a large number of long-term scholars. Its major cities include Beiyuan, Yunheng, Changxian, Bailu, Lanshuang, Dongyacheng and Fenghe. The contemporary industries of Qingqiong Realm are mainly higher education, boundary research, public law training, regular medicine, floating land architecture, wind belt agriculture and animal husbandry, and academic publishing. Qingqiong residents still retain a strong sect tradition, but most modern sects have been incorporated into public registration, education filing and protection systems for foreign disciples. The status of Qingqiong Realm in the contemporary era does not lie mainly in its military power, but in its academic, public law, boundaries and historical reputation. Weien Star. The Weien Star is one of the most important documentation, education and publishing centers in the modern known world. Weien Star is not the most resource-rich life star, nor is it a military star. Its historical status comes from a long tradition of bookstores, collation systems, public libraries and trans-world archival preservation. Cangqiong Bookstore, North Bookstore, South Bookstore, Third Academy Library and Weien School together form the core academic area of Weien Star. The residents of Weien Star are complex. In addition to Weien natives, there are also a large number of scholars, students, archivists, transcribers, translators, book restorers, researchers of public registers, custodians of foreign libraries and retired porters. The main cities of Weien Star include North Book City, South Book City, Huizhi Port, Sanyuan City, Sulin Town, Old Campus and Awen University Town. The political structure of Weien Star is dominated by the Book City Council, local academic offices and the public archives custody system. Its social ethos values diplomas, archives, debates and public records. The main industries of Hyundai Weien Star include publishing, archive storage, school time services, academic certification, cross-language translation, ancient text restoration, education hosting and knowledge licensing. Weien Star remained an important center for history, law, registers, linguistics and comparative civilization studies in the late 39th century. Beichen Star. Beichen Star is one of the traditional life stars, famous for its cold plains, grasslands, astrological observations and the traditions of the six ethnic groups. The six Beichen ethnic groups originated from ancient southward migration and long-term tribal integration. In the late 39th Era, the six-ethnic system no longer exists as a complete political structure, but it still profoundly affects local identity, festivals, language, and land concepts. The main areas of Beichen Star include the Hokuriku Han Plains, the East Riku Shidai City Group, the Southern Harbor, the Shirahara Common Pastoral Road, the Western Mountain Salt Road and the Central Riku River Valley. The main cities are Shitai City, Baiyuan City, Hanmu Town, Dongxingtai, Port Vero, Talgao City, Wushuo Yi City and Xueheng College District. The residents of Beichen include the Baijiao, Taer, Weiluo, forest savages, Hanyuan herdsmen, foreign observers, star map engineers and educational immigrants. Beichen Star's contemporary industries focus on deep space observation, star mapping, cold plain agriculture, cryogenic medicine, pastoral education, distant star data services and observation tourism. The Beichen Far Star Observatory and the Beichen Star Chart jointly still have an important influence in modern star charts, distant target data compilation and route risk assessment. Beichen Star culture emphasizes winter community, stargazing rituals, long-distance migration memories and the tradition of mutual assistance in the cold plains. Luojia star. Luojia star is a star with dominant life in oceans and archipelagos. Baichao Islands, Nanting Harbor Group, Eastern Chao Road, Old Boat House City and Deep Blue Fishing Area together constitute the main living space of Luojia Star. Luojia is famous for its navigation, supply, port tours and tidal observation in history. Its ancient navigation tradition has long influenced the supply system of the Age of Expedition and the Stargate Era. In the late 39th Era, the main cities of Luojia include Baichaomen Port, Nanting City, Boen Port, Dongchao City, Haimi Town, the old boathouse area and Lanyin Island. The residents include Luojia islanders, Hong Kong regiment workers, tide road masters, sea plant breeders, family members of cross-world caravans, foreign students and a large number of temporary freight personnel. The political structure of Luojia is jointly run by the Port Authority, the Island Group Council, the Hong Kong Youth League and the Local Fisheries Office. Luojia Star's contemporary industries include port logistics, marine food, tidal energy, houseboat construction, Hong Kong group education, cross-ethnic music, sea plant medicinal materials and port insurance. The daily life of Luojia people is still highly dependent on tides, solar terms and inter-island transportation. White Tide Day, Net Opening Festival, Nanting Night Market and Hong Kong Workers’ Chorus are important symbols of Luojia’s modern culture. Tiyang Star.
Tiyang Star is one of the important birthplaces of Tiyang tradition. Its southern Baihe River Basin, the ruins of the Sleeping City, the old area of Twelve Cities and the Baihe Outer Port are the core areas of Tiyang history. Although the Yifeng United Union has long lost its ancient form, its traditions of city-state councils, contract politics, and river port public affairs still have a profound influence on modern Tiyang. In the late Thirty-ninth Era, the main cities of Tiyang Star include Baihe City, Nanlu Old Twelve City Areas, Tinangang, Hexin City, Yiheng Town, Waigang New City, and Sleeping Ruins Reserve. The residents include descendants of Yifu, citizens of river ports, civil servants of city-state councils, craftsmen of outer ports, descendants of Kele, descendants of Hengguang survivors and trade immigrants. The political structure of Tiyang Star is dominated by the Multi-City Council, the Baihe Public Committee, the Foreign Port Affairs Department and the Heritage Conservation Institute. The main industries include river port trade, contract law services, heritage tourism, outer harbor workshops, Stargate artifact maintenance, White River brewing and city-state education. Tiyang StarModern society values contracts, meetings, local debates, and public account books. Its residents are often considered to be better at handling multi-interest negotiations. Hengguang fragment. The Hengguang fragment is one of the main heritage areas preserved after the Hengguang Realm was broken. The existing habitable and researchable areas mainly include the Heluo residual section, the edge observation area of the Xishen section, the restricted area on the outer edge of the dayless section, and several Hengguang survivors memorial settlements. The ruins of the First Stargate, the former site of Hengtong Institute, the ruins of Heluo Gate-City, the remains of the outsider settlement area and the remains of the public road court are all located in or around the remaining Heluo section. The Hengguang fragment is not suitable for large-scale development as an ordinary living world. In the late 39th Era, its permanent population mainly consisted of site managers, descendants of Hengguang survivors, Stargate history researchers, commemorative craftsmen, rules and stability maintainers, medical observers, and a small number of local licensed residents. The main sites include Heluo Heritage Site, Chumen Memorial Area, Old Hengtong Workshop Belt, Yandeng Medical Station, Liulu Town and Wuzhi Observatory. The contemporary status of the Hengguang fragment is mainly in the aspects of history, commemoration and scholarship. It is neither a modern stronghold nor a political center, but it is an unavoidable place for the study of the history of public roads, the Stargate project, the history of Hengguang survivors and the postwar order. Many modern students will be exposed to Hengguang fragments at least once in their lives, either in textbooks, public anniversaries, or distance courses. Kele Realm. The Kele Realm was created by Erding, the archon of the ancient Yi'an tribe, and is one of the older Houtian realms in existence. Realm studies show that the Kele Realm was initially located closer to the star field where Tiyang Star is located. Later, it was pulled by the Qingqiong Realm for a long time and gradually drifted to its current position. Therefore, Kele Realm is culturally a combination of the Tiyang Yifu tradition, the influence of Qingqiong Realm Road, and the local characteristics formed by its own long-term drift. In the late 39th era, the main areas of the Kele Realm included Chu'an, Qingliandai, Twelve Bridges City, Jiu Erding Stone Carving Area, Baisha City and Luoding Valley. The residents include the Keleben people, descendants of Yihui, Qingqiong immigrants, bridge workers and border farmers. The governance structure of the Kele boundary is mainly composed of the boundary conference, the local bridge administration department, the Stone Carvings Conservation Institute and the Qingliandai Ecological Management Office. Contemporary industries in Kelejie include boundary flow agriculture, drift observation, ancient stone carving research, bridge city construction, educational tourism and boundary ecological maintenance. The Kele people often describe their history as "same origin but different currents". Their local schools usually teach Tiyang old deeds, Qingqiong Realm common sense and Kele's local bridge city law at the same time.
